Positive The peace and quiet was fantastic. We stayed in The Lodge and I would highly recommend it. The garden was lovely to sit and read or chat. Clean with a fantastic shower.

Positive The host Joy is very helpful and friendly, she even gave us a box of chocolate as a gift. The place is huge and we had a peaceful morning walk around the field in the morning. The cottage is big, the furnishing is old in a good way that reflecting the rich history of York and the place.

Positive This was an absolutely lovely country retreat to stay in the historic town of York. We stayed in a lovely, comfy, cosy, 1 bed cottage fully equipped with every convenience for a restful weekend. And the host Joy couldn’t have been nicer!
