Positive The house is old, but decent and clean, you can tell that the owner put in so much effort to maintain it. Clean futon with good smell, dog was allowed to be unleashed in the property (I was the only guest for that day), sunset was lovely, overall satisfied!

Positive This is not your typical hotel experience. Diamond Head is a guesthouse in an older, but updated Japanese home in the peaceful little village of Mio. The owner, Owen, is a friendly, hospitable guy who is also a very good cook. He prepared excellent meals for me at dinner and breakfast, using fresh local ingredients.
