Positive -location is near the river, mountain in Higashiyama Onsen -there are 4 private baths to use for a fee (¥2000 for hotel guests) -food is superb esp the dinner (worth it!) -price is just right -a great place to experience Japanese Ryokan and kaiseki meal -staffs are warm and hospitable even doing extra mile to speak English

Positive The breakfast was delicious! It was so beautiful and tasty and was too much to finish. The staff's service was attentive and they were very sweet, using a translator to ensure that we were well taken care of
