    Positive It is a traditional Japanese house in a residential area of Kyoto, but still very close to 2 different train lines: one taking you in 5 minutes to Kyoto main station (in the opposite direction to Nara), the other going for example to Gion. The area is full of places to eat, cafes, shops, and a walking distance to Fushimi Inari Shrine - definitely worth a vis

    Positive The location is perfect! The house was bright, clean, and in a friendly neighborhood 3 minutes from a train station and 7 minutes from Fushimi Inari. We walked to Fushimi Inari at 7am before breakfast and had a beautiful quiet experience there instead of navigating huge crowds of people, which was our experience the day before at 10am.     Positive Cool thing to try out! Had the roll out beds and aliding screen doors, but the living area and bathrooms still felt modern. The garden outside was really cute. Perfect location if you want to check out Fushimi Inari outside of peak hours.
