Positive Room in the "Hiten" wing were newly renovated and very clean, plus the great scent of new Tatami. Despite huge number of guests, breakfast buffet was efficient and tasty.

Positive We went to Kotohira without knowing much about it, apart that there was a beautiful temple but did not expect the stay at our hotel to be the highlight of our trip! We loved experiencing staying at a traditional Japanese hotel and sleeping over futons on the tatami and having the private bath outside with view of the mountain. We also had kaiseki dinner both
