Positive We stopped here for a quick night on our way to Hakone and were greeted with lovely hospitality by the owners as soon as we arrived. They went above and beyond to accomodate my severe allergies and provided delicious traditional meals. We are so glad we stayed and will remember our experience here forever.

Positive The owners were so lovely and always there to help. The food was artisanal and amazing, made from local ingredients. Staying at an inn that has been serving people for 147 years was an off the beaten path experience.

Positive The Ryokan is at a great location for hiking and site seeing. Great hospitality, our hostess is a great cook and we enjoyed a local traditional dinner and breakfast. In addition she was very helpful and gave us tips for our trip.
