Positive A wonderful traditional Japanese in that felt like a world away. The food was delicious and traditional. The staff was warm and accommodating and eating in the room was a relaxing way to end the day. Positive Kyousen exceeded our expectations in every aspect. The food was amazing (better than some of the Michelin rated restaurants we ate at in Tokyo and Kyoto). The rooms were clean and spacious. Positive This was the most beautiful hotel during our trip to Japan. The atmosphere, the designing, the view of the river from the windows. On top of it, dinner was absolutely delicious. We were upgraded to a larger room - what a nice surprise.
