    Positive Great location with access to short but breathtakingly gorgeous hikes. While walking the paths by the Minami Aso visitor center I happened across the trail to Mt. Rakuda and liked it so much I came back to hike it the next day. The onsen was great and had a beautiful view of Mt. Aso. Buffet dinner and breakfast were very extensive with the food ranging from

    Positive Only thing lacking is the dinner as its a buffet. I tried it the second night and went to go eat in the village instead. Don't let this deter you though, amazing value and great to just stare at the mountains from

    Positive The property included a beautiful view! The rooms were a bit on the older side, but very clean. Amenities were available in the lobby. The food was delicious. The staff were friendly. We also enjoyed the drink counter and sweet potato evenings. As a family with little kids, the play area in the lobby was great!
