Positive Beds were very comfy. Bathroom newly renovated. Heated floor in room! Lodge well set up for ski logistics: ski storage, bag storage, change rooms, drying room, etc. Dinner was great, hard to get dinner elsewhere in Mitsumata. Staff very friendly and helpful, communicated well enough in English (thanks!). Location couldn't be better for access to ropeway.

Positive great location across the road from Mitsumata ropeway and bus stops to from Echigo yuzawa. Owners were very nice and most helpful. Typical old style Japanese ryokan with shared bathroom and toilet facilities, great experience and totally different to normal western establishments. If your focus is skiing or snowboarding this is a great base.
