    Positive This shukubu has been in the family for 16 generations and it shows! The owners were so kind and welcoming. They really know how to treat a guest. The place is recently renovated, and is beautifully crafted with gorgeous wood throughout. The beds were very comfortable, and the onsen was top notch. Everything was spotless.     Positive The hosts are incredibly accomodating and sweet. I only speak English and they made sure to use a translator to help me understand what I needed to. The included dinners and breakfasts were phenomenal, and the on site mini-onsen was really nice after a day hiking.
