    Positive Our host was very kind and thoughtful, ensuring that our stay was comfortable and that we had everything that we needed. Our room was spatious and had plenty room to hang our clothes after doing the laundry. The location was convenient with the bus stop right across the street and delicious meals in the neighborhood.

    Positive The hospitality was impeccable. The host was always available for everything. Probably witnessed the peak of Japanese culture (with people being helpful in every way possible) here. The host (without even us asking him for anything) found that our shoes were wet after a trek put them for drying (on a drying machine) only for us to find the shoes all dried up

    Positive The owner was really friendly and helpful. The location is perfect if you go to Yakushima without a car and would like to use the public transportation on the island. He has suggested spots to go to, restaurants to visit (where we got great food btw) and helped with booking a bus tour around the island.
