    Positive The location had many attractions and facilities that you could walk to (hot springs, small grocery, bus stop, post office, restaurants). The house truly felt like home.

    Positive Yakushima is a beautiful island. If you stay here you'll definitely want to rent a car (there is a parking spot provided.) The hostess was extremely friendly and very helpful in giving us suggestions in what to do and keeping things tidy even while we were there. I would stay again given the opportunity.
