    Positive If you're going to Matsue, this is the place to stay! Our host, Emi, was full of information about transportation, places to visit, and where to eat. Fresh, local fruit was plentiful for breakfast, along with delicious bread, butter, and yogurt. The location was convenient in many ways. A bus line stops on the corner, you're easy walking distance to the Cast

    Positive Matsue is outside of the over-touristed parts of Japan and well worth a visit. Staying at Emi's beautifully restored traditional house was a highlight for us, especially as our host was so kind, welcoming and helpful. Her dining and sightseeing recommendations were some of our best experiences during one month traveling around Japan.

    Positive Excellent service and pleasant interactions with the host. The breakfast was wonderful; seasonal fruits, yogurt and toast. The host also provided the list of places to dine which is not on the tourist guide which was very affordable and greate experience to dine like a local.
