Positive The location up in the mountains meant we were surrounded by nature, with the autumn colours generating emotions of peace and contentment. Positive Amazing experience! Very friendly, kind, and helpful staff. We enjoyed the onsen, as well as the open-air bath on our patio. We dined in both izikaya restaurant and also the chef's set-menu. Both were fantastic! They even made a special vegetarian meal which was so delicious! Such a great place and the free shuttle from Okayama Station was very easy to arran

Positive Wonderful hotel! Modern Japanese ryokan-hotel. Attractive, spacious lobby and lounge that overlook a lovely garden. Currently, free coffee/tea/flavored water is free in the lounge (and for part of the day, you can also have a free glass of sake). We booked a spacious tatami room with two Western-style single beds - that were very comfortable. Fantastic view
