    Positive We had a mixed experience staying here and arranging hikes/transport with Eric. On the positive side, once we were finally checked in, the place itself was fine and comfortable, and Eric is friendly and well-intentioned.

    Positive You have access to the gym, and the owner gives you any info you need about the near by hikes. He offers a paid service to transport you and pick you up from the near by volcanos as well

    Positive The hostel itself and the host, Eric, were wonderful. Eric has a large gym on the site that he told us we could use for free, and he let us do our laundry as well as use the kitchen for free. He gave us a lot of good beta on climbing Iztaccihuatl which was the primary reason for our stay in Amecameca, and his information was both accurate and very helpful. W
