Positive It was our anniversary, and we asked for a deluxe room with a bath. When we arrived, they had already filled the tub with water and flowers + decorated the bed with flowers and wine. Lovely touch

Positive Jesus is warm and very helpful. All staff are friendly. Jesus is very knowledgeable about local activities and restaurants. Refugio breakfast is substantial and simple. Continental here means eggs, toast, yogurt, fruit, granola and coffee/tea. The pool is refreshing and clean.

Positive It's a terrific place to stay in Valladolid. It's not five stars, but it doesn't claim to be ... it's a spacious, comfortable, kind of quirky but gorgeous little hotel and great value. It's an easy walk into town centre and wonderful, welcoming staff who gave exceptional recommendations for cenotes and restaurants (if only other hotels in Mexico were as good
