    Positive Joao was a friendly host who greeted us on arrival and dropped by the night before departure. Maia is a cute town that was fun to walk around, especially down the multicoloured steps to the sea. The villa itself was pretty tiny but clean and well-equipped. The air conditioning worked well in the main room, but you have to leave the bedroom doors open to bene
