    Positive Everything was absolutely perfect - ideal for a quiet escape, beautiful hiking trails all around, fresh mountain water, the shelters themselves are beautifully organized and well equipped, and the hosts have been superbly helpful throughout our stay.     Positive The place is amazing, very cozy and amazing views- really into nature. It is equipped with everything you need and the bed is sooo confortable. The staff is also very kind and always available. From the park you can do a 2-3h walk to Pico Areeiro- we did it for sunrise and was moderate level. We would definitely come back in the future!!

    Positive This place is located INSIDE the national ecological park, and provides access to some of the best hiking on the island. We were a family of three, and everyone slept comfortably, and enjoyed walking to O Barracão, which has amazing poncha and a great food selection.
