Positive We loved the design (stained glass, antique fixtures and furniture, etc) and the beautiful building, which is tucked away into an alley in Alfama overlooking the river. We stayed in Lola and had lots of space, with huge windows in the living room, and a massive bathroom. The staff were very kind and attentive, particularly Antonio. The hotel only has 6 rooms

Antonio the desk clerk was amazing in helping with anything we needed. was very fluent in English, knew a lot about the history of this hotel, helped with luggage, served an amazing breakfast. could not of asked for anything more.
