    Positive We had a great stay and loved the traditional feel of the property. Gorgeous view from the rooftop terrace, close to the old town on foot (took us around 10 minutes) & plenty of parking outside if you're renting a car.     Positive The self-catering property was part of a larger, elegant house set in its own gardens, in the old part of Funchal. Our property had its own private pool and small garden area and was a three-minute easy bus ride from the centre of Funchal, although we preferred to make the 15-minute walk down to the Old Fort and water front.

    Positive The Quinta was located in quiet and safe residential area near Funchal old town. The building was full of charm and character, set in beautifully kept gardens with lovely views across Funchal and the sea. The hosts were very helpful and friendly.
