Positive My husband and I just came back from our 2 week trip to Portugal and our stay at Quinta da Casa Amarela in the Douro Valley was a highlight! The day manager on site, Andre, was incredibly friendly, kind, and helpful. We also met the owner, Gil, briefly when we accidentally pulled up to his house instead of the hotel (whoops!) and he was so nice and welcoming

Positive A beautiful respite in the middle of our Portugal adventure! Lovely people, outstanding property and just an all around amazing place to stay. We were also fortunate to get a tour and tasting with the owner, Gil. The breakfast and table was beautiful and delicious!!

Positive Wonderful, quiet location in the Douro valley. Great views over the country side. Andre, our host, was superb, very thoughtful, helpful and kind. The swimming pool was fabulous and the accommodation very comfortable. We had an amazing wine tasting and tour of the property with Gil the owner.
