    Positive This is the only real hotel in the village. There are a lots of high-end B&B’s. But no true hotels that actually have a restaurant and a bar. That’s the lifesaver in this tiny village. The food is upscale, but not expensive .

    Positive hiking the John O'Groats trail. Hotel is not right downtown so I shopped downtown then hiked out to the hotel (10 min). Great atmosphere I arrived and there were many people in the restaurant/bar having a great time. Staff friendly but a little disorganized, I ordered a beer and had to re-ask for it. Good nice clean room.

    Positive We ate at the onsite restaurant and the food was fabulous. We couldn't have asked for better service. We requested a breakfast bag since we had to leave early. We were very pleased with the meal. Thank you very much.We also hiked the local trail to the falls which we really enjoyed.
