    Positive Very quiet and peaceful location, well off the beaten track. Nearest hill for walking accessible from the door. Comfortable and warm despite being an ancient bothy type dwelling. Nice little garden too.

    Positive The cottage is in a beautiful location — we even had sheep grazing nearby, which made the view extra charming. It’s only a 10–15 minute drive to Portree, so very convenient. The house had everything we needed: a well-equipped kitchen for cooking, a fireplace for cozy evenings, plus a TV and a huge DVD collection. The only downside was that there was no showe

    Positive The location was great - 10 minutes outside of Portree. The delightful cottage/ croft was charming and so much nicer than a soulless IKEA furnished place. The wood burner was a lovely addition and raised the inside temperature very quickly. The bath was great, after all the hiking, with plenty of hot water once the immersion heater had been turned on.
