Positive Location to walk into Dobcross and uppermill was good. Definitely not if you are unfit as the footpath is steep. Accommodation was nice but as its a cottage its old, but we didn't mind that. The owner was very prompt in replying and pleasant.

Positive location was superb--in a historic Pennine hill village a hundred yards from an excellent pub with variety of walks on paths, or over the moors on the doorstep

Positive The furniture and decor was superb in this beautifully restored historic building of 1765 with weavers windows. The surrounding conservation area village of Dobcross. The quiet. The views of Saddleworth Moor from the main bedroom. I have stayed in many places in and around Saddle worth over 25 years---this was by far the best.
