Positive We had a wonderful stay at the Alfriston Hotel. The staff were all exceptional, particularly the lady on reception who was so kind to our 8 month old baby and made us feel so welcome when we arrived. We were walking the South Downs Way and she said "oh we love having walkers here." They offered us a complimentary glass of wine and gave us the most beautiful

Positive The pool area is gorgeous and the sauna and steam rooms were great. I also really enjoyed sitting outside the front of the hotel, overlooking the front lawn. Location is perfect, in a lovely little village with direct access to trails and South Downs. Both the restaurant and breakfast room were lovely. Breakfast was plentiful. Staff were excellent everywhere
