    Positive The hotel/ bar was welcoming from the minute we arrived, which was much later than intended. Our room was warm and beautifully furnished. Everything we needed was there. Breakfast was prepared in our room ready for us.

    Positive The front of house staff were most welcoming and the food at their restaurant was to die for. The Isle of Bute gin and tonic was exceptionally fine, aromatic and delicious. Their seafood pasta was wonderful, cooked to perfection and the mussels were fresh, tender and firm.
