    Positive Beautiful location. Lovely building. Friendly staff. Beautiful location! It really is, so I'm putting it twice! If you want a stroll rather than a hike, pop over to Great Ayton and walk along the river. There are so many benches to stop and sit.

    Positive The room was comfortable and quiet at night for sleeping. Breakfast was excellent for egg lovers. An additional non-egg option for variety would be nice for those staying many nights (we were there for 5 breakfasts), for example pancakes or waffles or home made granola bowl.
