Positive Have stayed at the Woodman countless times and it's always great. The staff are excellent, friendly, helpful and really know how to make guests feel welcome. The rooms are very pleasant and comfortable, with all amenities and space to hang things or put bags. Breakfast choices are really good, and the food items are top quality - as are dinner menu items. Positive We stayed in one of the suites which was a small adjacent cottage beautifully converted. The food, beer and service were all excellent. We could hear owls hooting in the adjacent woods and the sound of the stream at night. This was an excellent combination of a class hotel and cosy pub all rolled into one.
