Positive Dai-ichi Takimotokan is nestled right in Jigokudani. There’s 5 different types of hot spring water, some coming directly from the valley. The Grand Bath was amazing! You could see the valley landscape and there were three outdoor baths. My favorite was the sulfur bath outside. Nothing beats a relaxing soak, surrounded by snow and forest as the stream rises i

Positive The grand bath is great with 5 different types of onsen, each good with its respective function. Japanese style room is a great way to experience the onsen culture thought it might looks abit old. Overall experience was good, the location near to hell valley too.
