Positive The location on the water with private dock was amazing! We were able to use the kayaks, enjoy private swimming, and nice sunrises. It is not too far to walk into town, which we did, but at night the dogs in the area do seem less friendly. Positive Great people to deal with! The apartment was perfect. Big kitchen and bathroom. Sleeping quarters huge. There is a safe (loved that) which I found to be rare in Bacalar. The owner and his son helped me get the charcoal grill started. The lake is just 100 feet from the door. No regrets.
