Positive As usual, the staff were efficient and kind (though Google translate is your friend). Besides not being expensive, Nine Place is safe and quiet. Now that there is a PTT mall around the corner, all the amenities are nearby: 7-Eleven, pharmacy, coffee, food, etc. Speaking of food, I was AMAZED to discover that here is now a new MICHELIN-listed Thai restaurant,

Positive I come to Bangkok maybe once a month, and generally stay here (as a former long-stay). I can't add anything to the nice reviews I've already written. However, I'd like to compliment the staff, who were great, as usual (though Google translate is your friend :-).

Positive Nine Place 40 is in a small, very Thai soi off Rama 4. The area is not touristy, which means it's quiet and safe. There is now a PTT mall on the next block, with 7/11, Amazon/Black Canyon, Otteri, Banana IT, pharmacy, and a ton of restaurants so all conveniences are readily to hand. There is also a Food Hall across the street. My room was large. Aircon good
