    Positive The bath (relaxing and great -also I didn't have to cover up my tattoos-), the location, the room (it had a beautiful view to a forest and even the sea), the common areas.

    Positive I recently stayed at a hotel in Atami, and while the facilities were great, I have to mention the challenge of getting to the hotel. The property itself is beautiful, with wonderful amenities, and the staff was friendly and accommodating. However, getting to the hotel is not easy, especially if you have luggage.     Positive The natural geothermal onsen was rejuvenating. Really. I was feeling run down as if I caught a cold before I arrived. Spent time in the onsen, relaxed afterward and an hour later I felt good enough to travel on foot the very vertical decent into town.
