Positive What fantastic ryokan!!! Everything was wonderful, from the rooms to the baths to the meals to the staff. It was truly an exceptional stay. I would highly recommend Kocho to anyone who wants to experience Japan outside of the hustle and bustle of Tokyo/Kyoto. Lots of local sites to see and Kocho is prefect for a 1 or 2 night visit. Positive Kocho was a highlight of our trip to Japan. From the moment we entered the door we felt so welcomed, relaxed and cared for. Our room overlooking the gorge was exquisite.The food served in our room was excellent and our server kindly explained each dish using Google translate. The private and public onsens were very nice.
