Positive It's a very, very big ryokan with plenty of public and private onsens to choose from. The baths themselves are pretty well-kept and a good experience. They don't look as nice as the pictures would suggest, but they're still a great place to relax, and especially the open-air ones are very vibey with the snow outside. Positive The dinner was exceptional - better than other ryokans where I've stayed that were much more expensive. The indoor baths were very spacious, and the outdoor bath was beautiful and quiet. The room was large, beautiful, and clean.
