    Positive Close to the monkey park, within a reasonable walking distance. Quiet location, wonderful staff and experience.

    Positive We booked this place on a whim just to see the snow monkeys. I didn't do much research about the town but we ended up falling in love. Shibu Onsen is amazing! Also, we were in Hakuba prior to our stay here and the day we left it was dumping. I was bummed to be leaving but we ended up bringing our boards with instead of sending them back to the airport with Y

    Positive The outdoor onsen was wonderful. It's not a private onsen but I went super early and I got the whole place to myself. Soaking in winter when you can see the steam/fog rises from the water in the early light of dawn was surreal. The food was delicious as well
